The sound of crashing waves
Despite being relatively young as a band, Anaheim’s Undertow has already crashed in as one of the most exciting bands. Combining the intense guitars of surf rock, lo-fi aesthetics of garage rock, and irresistible hooks of indie pop, this all-female trio is a force to be reckoned with.
The girls have known each other since elementary school, but didn’t start seriously pursuing music until 2022. Since their inception, the band have immediately gone to work. With constant live performances and songwriting sessions, it was only a matter of time when Undertow got discovered. Strangeways signed them earlier this year, and a professional re-recording of their debut LP, “Are You the Ghost Rider?” is due later in 2024.
